OK. I am totally perplexed as to how to beat the NecroTech Commanders at the end of the level in order to gain the Realm of Contrivance Krystal. They are sucking the life right out of me as they get near. I'm a level 40 Ogre and probably not that well equipped, but to this point can't find anything else to help me. I've hired one of the Mercs but they are of little use here. Is there some secret that I don't know? I'm trying to fight from a distance using Magic Axe and Yorg. But after I strike the commanders a few times and back up to run, they disappear and when they come back they have full health again. I'm getting discouraged!

Tips and questions:

- are you on easy? mobs are set to easy by default, normal is hard
- have you spent all your build points as you level?
- are you scribed up all the way before you enter the room?
- are you buffing your henchie when yo go in?

- Blazie is the toughest henchie
- Stocking up on scribes and food before battle is recommended
- You must stay in the room and defeat the mobs to win
(leaving the room resets it)
- The health boost scribe is essential to keep your health high
- Try fighting on the stairs
- Use jump and shoot
- Use yorg spell constantly
- Equip the highest level bracers you can find (you can purchase in Aya's)
- You can confuse the mobs by running around the giant krystal lots.
- You must use a health potion right after using a health boost scribe (to replenish the new health)
- Use potions like candy
- Mana scribe magnifies your magic damage (use a mana potion right after using a mana scribe to replenish the new mana)

There is currently a helpful bug that will let you pick up the contrivance krystal if you press the tab key when in range.

Answers to all questions ... yes! I blew the Blazie quest somehow. I suppose by not getting to her early on. When I approach her, she tells me the story, but I can't select the Tomes anymore. I use one of the other henchmen and I do buff.

The tab trick worked. I do OK in all other battles to this point I just could not withstand the damage from those Necros in the room. One swipe and I was dead meat.

I appreciate your help. I'm really enjoying this game and look forward to any further updates, enhancements etc. you guys may provide in the future.

You haven't blown the Blazie quest. Just go back to her and reread the quest. Likely you have just missed a tome or two. Hint: the one in the Cathedral area is in kind of a trick place. (Not on the ground and you'll have to jump!)

Hehe. We'll be fixing this bug in future. And may even make that part of the quests easier if it's just too tough.

I have reread the Blazie quest and she tells me the story, but the question marks do not appear over the pedestals anymore. The tomes just are not there. The pedestals are but the tomes are not. The pedestals are highlighted but the tomes are not there. I've tried over and over and over again to no avail. If I had done the quest correctly already, would the tomes not appear on the pedestals so that I could click on them and read them? It's as though I did something that will not let me activate the quest at this point.

The quest does not reset. You just have to find all 6 of them. And find them in order so that the next one appears.

It's kind of a puzzle/adventure side quest where you have to be very observant. Since the tomes you have collected are not displayed the only way you can complete the quest is by finding them in order.

It seems you have not found them all. If you reread the quest and can remember where the last one you found was, simply go to the next location and don't leave until you find the one in that location.

Otherwise we can do a 'spoiler thread' that shows each tome in it's location.
